WARNING: SPOILER ALERT. As usual, this episode was very funny, though not quite as hilarious as the previous episode. It very much revolved around Satania, and Satania was in full Satania mode throughout it. The ways Raphiel and Gab kept getting the best of her were hilarious.

In addition, the ways the class president handled things here were also quite hilarious. These parts involving Satania were great, not just because of the humor, but because it put the characters’ personalities on full display. The president is developing to be a nice supporting character. This episode really helped her character development substantially since we had not seen much of her yet. She is playing a nice role with interacting with the other characters. This is especially true given how bizarre the other characters are.

The Halloween part was enjoyable as well, though not quite as enjoyable as other parts of the episode. Still, it was very cute to see Gab forced into her werecat costume. Given this episode focused on Satania, it did not have many serious or emotional moments, which separates it from other episodes.

So far, the main serious moments of the show have all involved Gab, though sometimes other characters have been involved in these serious moments, like how Tapris had flashbacks from her time with Old Gab. It seems the other characters don’t have the type of past to pull emotional and serious moments out of them by themselves. The closest we get to this is to see Vignette and Tapris saddened to see Gab’s fall. However, they do not face personal emotional trials of their own.

This could change going forward, but at the moment this actually is one area of the show that could be better. By not having the other characters face serious issues, it throws away an opportunity to see these characters deep down; we don’t get to understand the characters on a deeper level. It feels like these characters are underdeveloped when we don’t see them on a deeper level. This is especially true for Raphiel. Hopefully this will change going forward. I am curious to see how many serious and emotional moments we will get sprinkled throughout the show’s comedic main focus.
