WARNING: SPOILER ALERT. I liked this episode. It feels like we are approaching the climax of the show soon, as things are getting more tense with the storyline. For the priest, I still cannot fully get what his motives and goals are. He is definitely a confusing villain, which fits in with the show’s complicated and confusing symbolism and desire to not make things clear. I have a feeling this show will never fully answer many questions and will leave many loose ends not fully explained but will instead leave them open to multiple interpretations and conclusions. This makes sense for a psychological horror show.

Still, the way the show is handling this so far is not perfect. It could do better by making more interesting loose ends that make the viewer yearn more for the answer. This would make the viewer wonder about the true meaning more after the show is over. Some of the confusing symbolism from earlier episodes are things I barely even remember, let alone things I am left wondering about heavily. This includes the fact that I have watched much of the show over again in order to form these reviews. Of course, there are still several episodes left, so there may be some more intriguing and interesting loose ends left by the time the show is over.

One major positive of this episode is we are finally getting more clues into Rachel’s past. The end of the episode dropped lots of hints that Rachel is harboring a dark secret, and we have been getting hints leading to this conclusion for a while. I am glad the show is now putting more build up to this reveal. I had been hoping we would get more build up into Rachel’s past for a while, and we are now getting it.

The way the episode ended seemed to foreshadow that there will be some conflict between Rachel and Zack. This could play majorly into the show’s plot and make the plot much more complicated, interesting, and exciting. I am curious to see how this unfolds. We also have also not clearly seen what happened to Danny. I have a feeling we will see him again, and I suspect there may be a big showdown with Danny coming.
