We got to meet a bunch of new characters, which was quite refreshing, especially since many of these characters had very interesting, humorous, and enjoyable personalities.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 9 Review-Christmas and New Year’s Eve Surprise
So far, the show has been relying very heavily on interactions among the four main characters to keep thing humorous and interesting, but it may not be able to rely as much on these characters interacting for a while with them separated.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 8 Review-Fall School Life
This is just me coming up with ideas, but I wonder if Gab has some special status in Heaven, perhaps related to her being top of her class at Angel School.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 7 Review-Vigne’s Demonic Life
Though it was not the funniest episode in the series, its cuteness made up for this. It really helps show what a dilemma Vignette has trying to be righteous and responsible while being a demon. Also, there may be a little bit of angel left somewhere deep down in Gab’s heart.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 6 Review-Satania’s Counterattack
As usual, this episode was very funny, though not quite as hilarious as the previous episode. It was very Satania focused, and Satania was in full Satania mode throughout it.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 5 Review-The Angel Whose Illusions Were Shattered Like Hell
Tapris’s unique personality, range of traits, and ridiculous emotions made her a perfect fit to be tossed into the clown car of the four main protagonists.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 4 Review-Summer Vacation, Ho!
Even though this is mainly a comedy show, it is actually nice to have some serious and emotional moments every now and then. It adds to the depth of the characters and helps the viewer feel more emotionally invested in the show and in its characters.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 3 Review-Friends, Work, and the Summer of Bugs
The show has truly been doing a good job of being and staying funny. The episode was also very cute as the characters are coming across in a very cutesy-humorous way.
Gabriel DropOut Episode 2 Review-The Angel, The Demon, and The Class President
I am very impressed with just how many funny jokes this show is able to pump out. Up to this point, the show has failed to get boring and is staying exciting and humorous.
Angels of Death Episode 7 Review
If the show just told us all the details of Rachel’s past immediately, then it would be boring and would throw away the opportunities for buildup, intrigue, tension, suspense, and making the viewer wonder about the events. By giving clues over time, the show avoids wasting such opportunities and makes the reveal, should it occur, be more dramatic.
